Canada Goose and Drake's OVO (October's Very Own) imprint have teamed up for their fourth collaboration together. Adding to excitement surrounding the release is the fact that, for the first time during their partnership, OVO and Canada Goose are releasing a women's-specific product, presumably for all the good girls who know it. In addition to the women's Chilliwack bomber, the collaboration also includes the OVO Foxe bomber, which comes with a removable shearling collar, and a co-branded baseball cap.
The collaboration brings together two iconic Canadian brands and the pair is committed to manufacturing the items in their home country. Now on their fourth collaboration, the pair have often charged high prices for Canada Goose's high quality materials and OVO's embellishments, which included 24k gold plated snaps and zippers and arctic fox fur in the past. Previous jackets retailed for $5,000, but this collaboration won't induce the same sticker shock. The women's Chilliwack bomber and men's Foxe bomber are made out of satin and boasts its own gold accessories are priced at $895 and $1,125, respectively. The hat will set shoppers back $50.
The items will release not coincidentally on October 24th, which is Drake's birthday, online at Canada Goose's website and physically at OVO's flagship Toronto store, Opening Ceremony in NYC and Japan, Harvey Nichols in the UK, and Colette in France. Only 300 of each will go on sale, with every item labeled from one to 300.
