Moncler's ‘Maya’ Jacket Sales Doubled Yesterday Thanks to Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’

Yesterday may have been one of the best sales day Moncler has ever had (best it ever had), thanks to Drake. Vanity Fair reports that sales spiked on Tuesday after Drizzy dropped his "Hotline Bling" video, in which a red $1,150 Moncler "Maya" jacket makes a memorable appearance. "We had a great result on the e-commerce sale of the Maya model," Moncler spokesperson Domenico Galluccio told, saying that the brand sold more than twice as many of the Maya jackets as it would on any other Tuesday.

Wonder what Canada Goose thinks of this? OVO x Canada Goose, Drake's collab with the other luxury down jacket brand, comes out on October 24th, aka his birthday.

Here's how Drake's Moncler jacket looks on the retailer's website. The lacquered nylon jacket features a detachable hood and a logoed button on a side pocket.

Meanwhile, there's chatter about where the turtleneck Drake wears in the video is from: states that its a $400 Acne grey melange turtleneck, but others are saying it's Aritzia, another Canadian brand.
