November includes the extra long weekend over Thanksgiving, so fill the time with something productive — like finally get through all the movies and television shows rotting in your Netflix queue. As new contracts are formed and old expire, the streaming service has introduced a slew of fresh items for its users to devour, including a charming-looking original series by Aziz Ansari, Master of None, and the intense fashion documentary, Dior and I.
While we've rounded up all of Netflix's new November offerings below, here are the eight additions to prioritize next month just in case you're actually "busy."
Queue it first
Anna Karenina (2012): Keira Knightley and Jude Law play husband and wife in Russia's high society in the film adapted from Leo Tolstoy's 1877 novel. If you don't enjoy affairs with affluent Counts, watch knowing the movie won an Oscar for costume design.
Dior and I (2014): Netflix is adding yet another fashion-focused documentary to its well-stocked collection. This time, Raf Simons's stress while preparing his first haute couture collection for Dior comes off the laptop screen and into your psyche, but it's well worth it when you see the final product — and meet the wonderful seamstresses who get it done.
Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce: The first season of this Bravo show is hopping onto the streaming service just in time for its season 2 premiere on December 1st. A self-help book writer hides her divorce until she's able to get used to single life in Los Angeles. Like I said: Bravo.
Zipper (2015): A politician running for Congress grows an addiction for high-end escorts, and he has to keep it from the public and his wife, played by Lena Heady (Cersei!). This sounds a lot like another Netflix option: House of Cards.
Idris Elba: Mandela, My Dad and Me (2015): After studying to portray Nelson Mandela in Long Walk to Freedom, Elba set out to make an album inspired by his research. During this time, his father passed away, leading Idris to dedicate the documentation of producing his first album to both Mandela and his late father.
Master of None, Season 1: Aziz Ansari's charming Netflix original doesn't come out until the 6th, but for now, you have the hilarious trailer which includes procuring Plan B and meeting your girlfriend's grandma.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Season 1: You have until November 20th for this Netflix original based on the Marvel Comics character. Krysten Ritter plays Jessica Jones, who ventures to become a private investigator after her career as a superhero tragically ends.
Home (2015): In this animated movie by DreamWorks, Tip, voiced by Rihanna, escapes an alien invasion on planet Earth. She goes on the run with Oh, voiced by Jim Parsons. You don't need to have children (or be one) to enjoy listening to Rihanna for 94 minutes.
