Is there a good time to talk about the holiday season? No, but like the drug store on the corner that's already rolling out its inflatable snowmen we're going to talk about it now because PBS has given the Benedict Cumberbatch loving world a gift in the form of a title and release date for the Sherlock holiday special.
Sherlock: The Abominable Bride will hit the public airwaves on January 1, 2016 in both England and American PBS announced. What does this mean exactly? For one: even more caped Cumberbatch! The special takes the characters back in time and will provide a perfectly mysterious way to stay inside and nurse your New Year's Day hangover.
Here's the trailer, which includes the title, release date and some deec Cumberbatch closeups. Enjoy Cumberbitches.
