Crucial Update

Fergie Just Can't Quit Trying to Be BFFs with Kendall Jenner

Fergie

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Back in April, Fergie, a 40-year old mother, was seen wandering around Coachella doing her best to pretend that she had been adopted by the Jenner's cool teen posse (here's what that looked like). Some wondered um, what?

Flash forward to Halloween, a night when that sort of pretend is allowed—encouraged even. Naturally when it came time to dress up, Fergie reached into her bag of teenage trickery and unearthed this suddenly popular Karl Lagerfeld (Josh Duhamel) and his cat Choupette couples costume.

Karrrrrrrlllll and choupette... ooh la la... #chanel #funhalloween

Now, here's where it gets interesting. Can you guess what supreme cool teen Kendall Jenner dressed up as...

lady Karl last night

If you said sexy lady version of Karl Lagerfeld, you are either extremely good at jumping to white pony tailed conclusions or part of Fergie's Kardashian-Jenner recon team. We imagine that if the two of them were to meet up at a Halloween party the exchange would have gone something like: "Cool costume Kendall. If your Choupette decides to leave you later or whatever because she has curfew, I could totally fill in. Josh won't mind at all."
