Jessica Jones Is Our First Badass Superhero in a Circle Scarf

There have been superheroes who can fly, superheroes who can make themselves invisible, and even superheroes who are trees that talk, like that dude from Guardians of the Galaxy. Not until Jessica Jones, however, has there been a superhero who can sufficiently rock a circle scarf.

In the new trailer for the forthcoming Marvel series on Netflix, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) climbs fire escapes, tosses dudes twice her size across rooms, and most importantly, orders a double whiskey like a woman who's seen some things, all in the uniform of the off-duty model: a hoodie topped with a leather jacket, skinny jeans, third-day hair, and a giant, cozy-looking circle scarf.

Of course, the fact that Jessica Jones loves a casual winter-cessory isn't the most important aspect of her character — as an actual superhero, she possesses superhuman strength and, according to Marvel legend, can fly, though she's "out of practice." But it does make her the most relatable female superhero so far. After all, who besides Rihanna can pull off a latex catsuit? Watch the full trailer below.
