Asking for beauty product recommendations from friends is usually a good bet, as is spending seven hours trolling obscure makeup message boards. But the only way to be absolutely, positively sure you're adhering to the most effective beauty routine? Get Bill Nye's take.
During a launch party for his new line of bow ties, the Science Guy spoke with Fashionista on everything from probably-bullshit beauty products to man buns, as well as his secret to looking young. "Anecdotally, just looking at my friends and guys I went to high school with, my skin looks good," he says. "And I think it's 'cause I put stuff on my eyes twice every day, once in the morning, once at night."
The "stuff" he speaks of? It's Ponds. "[It] is an ancient product. My grandmother used Pond's. And so do I." He's quick to qualify, however, "Just know that I have no endorsement in this at all."
