The new fashion director for Style.com, Condé Nast's upcoming e-commerce experiment, might be a familiar face for street style obsessives. Vogue UK reports that fashion consultant and Être Cécile designer Yasmin Sewell is joining Style.com to lead the site's fashion team. In addition to her very Instagrammable Être Cécile T-shirts and sweatshirts and appearances on The Sartorialist, Sewell's known for a resume that includes senior creative positions at London department stores like Browns and Liberty.
"Yasmin's unique vision for products, trends and talents will be pivotal in Style.com's growth," Vogue UK quotes Style.com's Franck Zayan as saying. "She is one of the most sought-after consultants in the industry, so having her as a full-time member of our team is a great accomplishment."
Style.com is still on track to launch first in the UK in 2016. Vogue UK has it that readers will be able to shop UK editions of Vogue, GQ, and other Condé Nast titles both through the magazines' websites and via the Style.com website.
