Because life is one big lazily written sitcom, Rebel Wilson finally apologized to the Kardashians, just as she was fated to do from the moment she said anything at all. In a stream of equally predictable tweets last night, she wrote:
I'd be very happy to debate the Kardashians anywhere / anytime / any topic.
— Rebel Wilson (@RebelWilson) November 12, 2015
Or maybe their publicist can just stop the smear campaign against me because I made one prompted comment about them on Australian radio?

In any event, I'm MORE than over this little thing and wish the K clan well X even sent them flowers

The tweets come eight days after Rebel Wilson told a radio host that she'd refused to present a VMA alongside Kendall and Kylie Jenner, adding "What they stand for is totally against what I stand for. They seem a bit superficial and their careers aren't really based on talent." She also went back to the source of all Kardashian fame: "I mean how Kim Kardashian got famous from the sex tape and I just went to acting school and worked really hard."
Bad news for the 85% of you who voted "Never" on our poll for how long it would take her to apologize. The correct answer was almost exactly a week, making just 5% of the voters correct. Perhaps the grinding wheel of the celebrity apology industrial complex can continue to surprise us after all.
