True love is tricky, both to find and to keep. But it appears that Jennifer Aniston, long the subject of tabloid concern-trolling, has found the secret, which is this: Smile and say nothing when your husband has chosen to a bad hat — specifically, the signature hat of straight fashion skeeze balls in 2008.

Though she and Justin Theroux looked like the faces of adorable winter coupledom at last night's Celebrity Charades Goes Medieval Gala in New York City, one can only assume Jennifer Aniston's thought process while snuggling up to him went something like this: "His hat is fine. Everything's fine. If the man I have married and who loves me unconditionally sometimes wears truly, radically terrible hats, that is okay."

And perhaps that, after eons of philosophers, poets, and artists searching for the secret, is what true love really is.
