Crucial Update

Miranda Kerr Is Post-Health Goth

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Traveling on planes is an extremely laborious task. The actual flying part isn't as stressful as the airport security process, so you're always advised to dress comfortably. Stars usually ignore this and wear sky high heels and anything else uncomfortable they can lay their hands on, just so they can prove a point to...someone about...something. Maybe it's because they want to seem fashionable even when all you want to do is don a pair of leggings and a carefree attitude.

Fortunately for some, Australian model Miranda Kerr did just that when she touched down in LAX last night. Kerr — whether intentionally or unintentionally — interpolated the Heath Goth fad with some non-Health Goth touches. For those confused, Health Goth is basically when one wears all black or dark sports-inspired clothing. Think Rick Owens, Alexander Wang for H&M, or the less colorful Nasir Mahzar pieces.

Health Goth-wise, Kerr opted for black leggings, a black handbag, black and white sneakers, and black sunglasses. Non-Health Goth-wise she wore a grey coat, a cropped white T-shirt and a grey, white, and red scarf. So in fact, she's so post-Health Goth that she's just Health.

This is so revolutionary.
