The word "fleek" reached its mainstream peak almost exactly twelve months ago, but in the year since, it's died a long, slow, and often painful death, heavily exacerbated by Fun Aunts everywhere. But in the trailer for Barbershop 3, Nicki Minaj — yup, she's one of the stars of the film — has resurrected it.
Not only does the spot include Nicki Minaj using the word, but it also spends a solid ten seconds on an old man character complaining about the term ("Did she just say 'fleek?' There's a whole dictionary full of words. There's a library down the street! You won't see 'fleek' in there nowhere!")
Also making an appearance in the film: Tyga, who reportedly plays a "bad guy" (no comment). Watch the whole thing below.
