Chrissy Teigen and Kaley Cuoco Had Very Different 30th Birthdays

When it comes to having lived 30 years on earth, there are but two ways to mark the occasion: One that includes various exotic animals, and one that does not. Though both of their birthdays are today, over the weekend, Chrissy Teigen and Kaley Cuoco perfectly exemplified the two opposing ends of the spectrum.

On Saturday, a pregnant Chrissy Teigen celebrated her 30th birthday rather simply — she threw a party at the Comedy Cellar in New York City, where John Legend presented her with a "huge cupcake birthday creation" (?) while singing "Happy Birthday" to the crowd. Though the average 30th birthday generally isn't catered by Momofuku, nor does it include a set by Dave Chappelle, it's nothing compared to the weekend-long, multi-country extravaganza Kaley Cuoco held.

On Saturday, Cuoco posted an Instagram of herself in a birthday hat staring out the window of an airplane with the caption, "2 planes, 12 best friends, one 30th birthday, destination unknown = priceless."

That destination, by the way, was reportedly a wildlife sanctuary in Monterrey, Mexico, where she rubbed a tiger cub's belly, played with a baby lion cub, and got real close to a couple of jaguars. Also included in the trip: the mandatory #squad Instagram, complete with a healthy dose of minor celebrities (former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky and daughter of the inventor of Toaster Strudel Lacey Chabert included).
