Topshop announced way back in October 2014 that it was partnering up with Beyoncé for a new athleisure line, but there's been hardly any news about it since then. Now, The Telegraph reports that there's a release date for Beyoncé's venture, dubbed Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd. After a bit of delay, it's slated to launch in April 2016 at stores in 25 countries across the globe, including the US, Canada, Australia, and mainland Europe. The original launch date was Fall 2015.
The line will reportedly offer clothing, footwear and accessories designed for those who work out and those who want to look like they do. There's no word of pricing yet, but Topshop boss Sir Philip Green told WWD that the line is currently in production and that Beyoncé just shot a campaign for it. "She’s also tried everything on to make sure it’s right," he said.
WWD reports that the collection will be sold through several distributors, and a source also indicated that the Beyoncé athleisure launch this spring will involve fashion shows in both London and New York.
