Halle Berry Looks Perfect at Event Honoring the Black Women of James Bond

James Bond, the fictional English spy, is known to make love to a woman a few times, then leave her to die. Such an honor for a budding actress is otherwise known as being a "Bond Girl."

In an event hosted by black women's magazine Essence to promote the latest film in the James Bond franchise, Spectre, Halle Berry was invited as one of many guests to commemorate and honor the black women who have starred alongside the several white men who have played James Bond. Other attendees included Naomie Harris, Gloria Hendry, and Trina Parks.

Berry costarred with Pierce Brosnan in 2002's Die Another Day, which was the actor's last Bond film. These movies are virtually indistinguishable from each other, so to clarify: this is the one where Halle Berry cuts up a pear in a sex scene. That was a very lucky pear indeed.

Fresh after dealing with Twitter drama from her first husband David Justice and her second husband Eric Benet, Berry looked beautiful and extra beachy with those crisp waves. She doesn't need any damn man.
