Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas: The Year of Dead Love Has Reached the Teens

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The year 2015 will be remembered for a lot of things: The Great Taylor Swift Overexposure of 2015, The Great Drake Glo Up, and The Great Kim K Costume by Kim K.

Unfortunately, this year has also been one of despondence, despair, and heartbreak for our poor — yet still wealthy — beloved celebrities. After the shattering of Drake and Serena Williams' relationship took the internet by storm, Nothing Was the Same. What Racked defined and predicted to be a One True Pairing was no longer. Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's flame burned out, and Cristiano Ronaldo and Irina Shayk, then Bradley Cooper and Suki Waterhouse ended too.

It seemingly never ends, as while all the adults living vicariously through Drake and Serena's relationship gasped at the news, something dark was brewing in Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid's future. According to the Daily Mail, the supermodel and DNCE lead singer have called it quits over a lack of time to spend together.

In the end, love never wins, tween readers.
