Diane von Furstenberg not only changed how women dressed at work, but she also has some wise words for equally high-powered women with babies. This morning, Victoria Beckham went on Good Morning America to discuss her nomination as one of Glamour's Women of the Year. When the host asked her about the best piece of advice she'd ever received from a woman, Beckham drew from DVF's advice arsenal:
"For me, I was having dinner with Diane von Furstenberg a few months ago, and she’s a woman that I have an enormous amount of respect and admiration for. And I said to her, ‘Diane, when your children were younger and you were working, did you feel guilty?’ And she said ‘Absolutely not. It’s a waste of time and energy. It's aging. Actually, you’re setting a good example in the fact that you’re a woman and you’re going to work.’"
