Alexander McQueen announced it is returning to London for one season only. The label has shown in Paris since its spring 2002 collection but will return to its late founding designer's hometown for Fall 2016. The designer moved his shoes to Paris after joining the Gucci group.
Harper's Bazaar reports that representatives from the label wouldn't say whether or not the show would pay tribute to McQueen in anyway but did say "something special" might be in store when the show takes place February 21st. WWD has learned that label will launch a "special product" in London near the show's date.
Other London Fashion Week shakeups include Mulberry, which is holding its first runway show since 2013, behind new creative director Johnny Coca. Charlotte Olympia also joins the London Fashion Week calendar as the designer readies to show her first ever runway show. Up to this point, she has held presentations for new collections.
