There was a lot happening on the Star Wars premiere red carpet in Los Angeles last night. Considering it's probably the most anticipated movie of the year/decade/ever, and also seemingly every celebrity in the galaxy was in attendance (Dane Cook! Becky G! Dave Navarro! Wolfgang Puck?), this comes as zero surprise. Let's dive in.
Guests could be divided into a few categories — those that wore regular LA-movie-premiere outfits (Zendaya, Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart, Adam Driver), those who wore slightly over-the-top gowns in honor of the occasion (John Boyega wore a spectacular purple suit, while co-star Daisy Ridley wore what is essentially one giant ruffle), and those that went full-on, nerdy-as-hell Star Wars cosplay.
There was Lupita Nyong'o as a human starburst. There was Sofia Vergara's Princess Leia buns. There was Jaime King attempting to make R2D2 into a couture gown. And then there was Joseph Gordon Levitt, who literally painted his face green and wore a white robe with Yoda ears. See 'em all in the gallery above.
