Do not let her elaborate fascinators and Easter egg–hued coats fool you: Kate Middleton is kind of a hippie. This, she proved during a visit this morning to the Anna Freud Centre in North London, which serves children with mental health issues, where she made Christmas collages, hung out with the kids, and finally, participated in the world's most adorable drum circle.

This, however, is where Kate Middleton's hippie streak ends. WWD reports that the dress she chose — to participate in a drum circle, mind you — is Alexander McQueen. Despite the fact that it's recycled (she wore it in 2012 to the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant), it's quite possibly the least drum circle–appropriate choice a princess could make.

Though perhaps, she only wore McQueen because she knew that the children would be playing a Queen classic:

Festive? Yes. Drum circle–ready? Only if you're in an orchestra and playing the cymbals.
