Google revealed its annual list of the top trending searches of 2015. The top 10 lists show the designers and topics we as a collective we're interested in, or were too embarrassed to ask a friend about.
For designer, the top 10 shakes out with Raf Simons, who left his post at Dior and sparked a number of conversations about the state of the fashion industry, as the most Googled designer of 2015. Next up was Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss, who has her own eponymous label Shoshanna, followed by Giambattista Valli and Thakoon Panichgul. Also on the list is notable names like Karl Lagerfeld and Tommy Hilfiger.
Making the list of most searched fashion questions was queries such as, "how to walk in heels?," which led the way. People also wanted to know what they should wear to the first day of school, how to tie a shirt, and how to dress like viral sensation Miranda Sings. The ultra-specific "What to wear to a wedding in the woods?" also made the list at number eight.
