E!'s Fashion Police is bringing on comedian Margaret Cho as a special co-host for 2016,Variety reports. The show has weathered plenty of changes following the death of former host Joan Rivers, in September 2014. Comedian Kathy Griffin was brought on to replace Rivers, but only lasted a couple of months before she left. Longtime panel member Kelly Osbourne also loudly departed the show shortly after a controversy involving comments host Giuliana Rancic made about Zendaya's hair. Joan's daughter Melissa Rivers was brought on to replace Griffin when the show returned to the air this September.
Variety notes that with the addition of Cho, the fashion police panel is now solidified with her, Rancic, Brad Goreski, and Rivers. Cho will officially join Fashion Police when it returns on January 11th, the day after the Golden Globes. Fashion Police should fall back into its regular format with four regular panel members and a different celebrity guest every episode. Once upon a time, Cho was one of the special guests on the showand apparently proved her chops enough to land a full-time gig.
