Marc Jacobs took to Instagram today to unveil images from his new beauty campaign starring Winona Ryder. The actress stars in the Spring 2016 Marc Jacobs Beauty campaign, her first beauty campaign ever, as Allure notes in an interview with Ryder.
In the interview Ryder speaks on creating her first ads for beauty products:
"It was a long day, but an amazing one. I hate to sound so clichéd, but it was a lot of fun. Look, I'm not a model, so doing any kind of fashion shoot I need a little bit of help in terms of that fact that I don't naturally fall into the poses or whatever. I'm always trying to get camera guys to tell me what side is the better one for me because an an actress, it's important not to be aware of stuff like that."
The image Jacobs shared features Ryder pressed up against a mirror wearing "our fine liner eye crayon, velvet noir mascara and new nudes lipstick," the designer writes in the image's caption. Jacobs also reveals that the shoot was styled by Love Magazine editor-in-chief Katie Grand. "[Ryder] does not model the look she gets into the role- and exudes it! A brilliant mind, talent, and physical beauty like no other," Jacobs writes. You can take a sneak peek at the campaign below.
