Made Promises to 'Slam It Down' For Its Last Independent Show

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

This is Made's last independent go at New York Fashion Week before the IMG acquisition sets in for the September shows. It isn't changing roles quietly: the announcement for the Fall 2015 lineup claims Made will "slam it down" this time around. All the usual Made suspects including Jeremy Scott and The Blonds are there, but it's added designers like Marissa Webb who have typically shown at Lincoln Center.

Other highlights include an event welcoming NBA stars to mingle with fashion and music types, and, of course, an attempt at melding fashion and tech through a "life-sized interactive screen" powered by Intel.
