The painfully wide-legged jean staple of the '90s is about to make a comeback, whether you want it or not. According to WWD, JNCO is relaunching this year under new management and with an influx of cash from a Chinese enterprise group.
The brand unveiled its relaunch plans at the Liberty Fairs tradeshow in Las Vegas this week. According to a company exec, the new JNCO will include a core collection, a fashion collection, and a heritage group for fall. Traditional styles like a knit jean, joggers with zip bottoms and drawstring waists (to keep up with the times), and heritage high-waisted jeans with 20" to 23" leg openings will all be sold under these three groups. And yes, everything will be branded with JNCO's distinct crown logo.
