How the Superbowl is covered in #Brazil, "Gisele Bundchen's husband wins Superbowl for 4th time" pic.twitter.com/15CDDnHQYD

A Brazilian paper reported that "Gisele Bündchen's husband Wins Superbowl for Fourth Time," and even Racked sister site SBNation expressed slight surprise that Brazil could get it so upside down. They wrote, "Why should Brazilians care about the Super Bowl, or Tom Brady, or that he broke a record, or that he has four rings? Okay, this is getting a little harder to defend."
But it's not that hard to defend. One is the champ of a sport only some Americans play and a lot—but not even all—Americans care about. The other is one of the most internationally recognized faces of all time. Who's a native Brazilian. Who's the highest paid person on the planet for having a face. Who out earned her husband by $16 million in 2014 according to Forbes. Even when you add $7 million from Brady's endorsements to his salary of $31.3 million, she's about $9 million ahead of him with an estimated $47 million. Nearly a whole $9 million. So yes. Gisele Bündchen's husband just won his sports. Well done, Gisele's husband.
