Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Katy Perry's vicious back-up dancers were the much rejoiced about star of the halftime show. More so than the actual star that lifted Perry through the stadium. And shortly after the performance, Buzzfeed uncovered the identity of one half of Katy's Super Bowl shark squad.

Meet the very ripped back-up dancer Scott Myrick. The frequenter of boats and tropical locations has been working with Katy on and off since 2011. Take note, second shark, you can swim run but you can't hide. THE INTERNET WILL FIND YOU (and your potential eight-pack). Come out of the woods and claim your glory.

Take 2 @jennapasko
