Wendi Goldman, the former Chief Product Officer for the nearly-defunct C.Wonder, has been hired by Gap to lead its design team as the Executive Vice President of Product Design and Development. Under new CEO Art Peck, this is the latest development in huge changes at brand: the company just dropped its creative director Rebekka Bay, got rid of that position entirely, and killed off its online mid-priced shop, Piperlime.
Goldman's resume includes stints at Express, Banana Republic, and Victoria's Secret, where she's credited with conceptualizing and developing Victoria's Secret's PINK brand. She starts at Gap on March 16th.
