Kim Kardashian's Dream of a Selfie With Jesus, Fulfilled

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Kim Kardashian revealed that her selfie wishlist includes her late father Robert Kardashian, Marilyn Monroe, and Jesus. Jesus. She made the list as a part of a Q&A on Twitter for her T-Mobile campaign, specifically in response to a participant's query, "if you could take a selfie with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose?" (It's the new "Who Would You Have Dinner With" getting-to-know-you question without all that tedious talking).

Here's a quick dramatization of how that exchange would go:
"Thank you for everything you've done, Jesus! But wait, let me show you how to do this thing we do now. Ready? Okay, tilt your head down. No, lower. Lower. Great, now squint. A little less? Perfect. Okay, say prune! *Snap* Great! I promise to post it. Later, though, okay?"
