In recent years, Chanel has replicated a supermarket, a "feminist" street protest, and now, a Parisian brasserie. At its show today at the Grand Palais, Chanel nailed all the details, right down to handsome, disaffected waiters serving coffee and croissants at the bar. But there was no breakfast for late-comers: baguettes, grapefruit pressé, hard-boiled eggs, and espresso were snatched away from show attendees who arrive 10 minutes late, the New York Times reports.
