Nike just launched a shoppable Instagram feed specifically for its @NikeWomen handle, joining plenty of brands and bloggers including Vogue, Kate Spade, The Coveteur (and us!) who have tried out the social shopping approach. However, instead of reaching out to a third-party company to handle the logistics, Nike created its own shoppable Instagram in-house to have more control over each part of the process.
The steps are pretty painless: Instagram captions point users toward the link in @NikeWomen's bio, which redirects to Nike's all-new Instagram shop on Nike.com. The shop looks exactly like @NikeWomen's Instagram feed, and when users click on a photo they'll be taken to the product pages for each item depicted in the image. The shoppable feed launched today in North America, Western Europe, Central Eastern Europe and Japan.
