The 2015 CFDA Award Nominees Are as Predictable as Ever

It's that time of the year again: the 2015 CFDA Awards. Otherwise known as the boring, predictable event that the New York Times' Vanessa Friedman compared to high school last year. The CFDA formally announced the nominees yesterday evening and literally everyone nominated for last year's CFDA womenswear, menswear, and accessory designer of the year categories was nominated again this year. Thankfully, the Swarovski Award nominees were a bit more varied.

In the one twist of the evening, the Media Award was given to not a person but a company, Instagram, prompting the NYT to jokingly wonder who will dress it for the ceremony.

Womenswear Designer of the Year Award:

Menswear Designer of the Year Award:
