Reports are in that Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marc Jacobs's diffusion line that relaunched to lots of fanfare last year, will be discontinued as a stand-alone label. Marc by Marc will be folded into an expanded Marc Jacobs, to "encompass a range of merchandise and price points" which will "unify all products with a clarity of voice and aesthetic, and ultimately, to expand the product offerings."
What this means for Marc by Marc's high-profile design team, Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley, is unclear.
