Sound the alarm: Marc Jacobs has finally, finally joined Instagram. The Fashion Spot picked up on his first post yesterday, a solid #nofilter shot; he's already racked up 38.5k followers in the past 17 hours.
The move is a bit odd considering the designer told Suzy Menkes just a month ago that he was "so appalled by the whole social media thing." However, this news is the latest in a slew of changes connected to an overhaul of the Marc Jacobs brand, presumably in preparation for an eventual IPO bid.
