Zayn Malik of One Direction is officially going in another direction. The band's publicist, Simon Jones, tweeted a statement explaining why Malik feels that "now is the right time for me to leave the band." The four remaining bandmates, who have already been touring without Zayn, will continue on as a quartet. Malik offers an apology to the fans, but admits, "I have to do what feels right in my heart." The bandmates of five years plan to sustain their friendship and send love to Zayn.
