Kate Spade may be scaling its Saturday and Jack Spade brands back, but it has a major expansion of its home goods department planned. While the company has dabbled in stationery and table linens in the past, it announced today that it's partnering with four different manufacturers to roll out Kate Spade-branded bedding and bath products, furniture, fabric, wallpaper, and rugs starting in May 2015. On top of that, the company is expanding its partnership with another manufacturer to launch a wide array of kitchen goods under the label "All In Good Taste," which will debut in August 2015. Basically, Kate Spade is coming for every inch of your living space.
"We are intently focused on our two key axes of growth—product category expansion and geographic expansion—and reaching customers across our four category pillars, women's, men's, children's and home," Kate Spade CEO Craig Leavitt said in a company statement. "This robust expansion of home decor offerings under the Kate Spade New York brand is an important step towards our vision of becoming a powerful, global, multichannel lifestyle brand."
