J.Crew has opened its doors for the first time in France. The new shop, located in Paris, is an 1,800-square-foot space dedicated to the brand's womenswear collection. According to T, the company plans to open a separate men's boutique in Paris in the fall. This is the second European location for J.Crew outside of its four London shops.
In celebration of the opening, J.Crew's Paris shop is exclusively carrying a capsule collection of hand-embellished Saint James shirts and individual French-themed Swarovski appliqués. "Paris by definition equals style," a statement from J.Crew's CEO Mickey Drexler reads. "I have an enormous amount of respect for the French - their integrity and passion towards design - whether it's architecture, music, food or fashion."
