The co-founders of Nylon magazine, husband-and-wife team Marvin Scott Jarrett and Jaclynn Jarrett, just launched a new publishing venture aimed at women from ages 18 to 25. It's a digital brand called Popular with the cheeky tagline of "the anti-social network," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In their new venture, the duo will dive into video-driven content. Look for series featuring Brandi Cyrus, Paramore's Hayley Williams, and model Cailin Russo, as well as user-submitted videos and one-off videos with Instagram stars like Sofia Richie. The Jarretts aren't leaving printed magazines behind totally, though. There will also be a quarterly magazine for Popular too, with Sofia as the first cover girl.
