There Are Over 26,000 Lilly Pulitzer for Target Items Now on eBay

Racked has affiliate partnerships, which do not influence editorial content, though we may earn commissions for products purchased via affiliate links. We also occasionally accept products for research and reviewing purposes. See our ethics policy here.

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Did you miss every single one of the Lilly for Target items on your list, like all of these unfortunate souls? All is not lost; it looks like a bunch of the pieces were funneled straight to eBay to capitalize on the resale market. There are currently 26,787 collab items up for sale on the site, ranging in price from probably worth it to absolutely ridiculous.

Keep in mind that, as Target told Racked earlier and then we found out for ourselves later, this collab was built to be sold at rock-bottom prices, not for crazy markups. Robin Givhan at The Washington Post puts it even more bluntly in her review.

"Today, a simple Lilly Pulitzer dress is about $200. A Target version is about $40," Givhan writes. "That's a bargain, for sure, but not that exceptional. One might expect to find nearly as good a deal by waiting for a sale at Neiman Marcus. Time, after all, is not of the essence. Lilly Pulitzer is classic. It is always hanging on a rack somewhere, everywhere, in all of its pineapple-print, feel-good, preppy psychedelia."
