McDonald's and hip Parisian store Colette seem like they would be unlikely collaborators. But sure enough, McDonald's-branded items will be sold this spring both in-store at Colette and online, and they look quite sophisticated for something involving Big Macs and french fries.
Instead of McDonald's last foray into fashion, which featured hyper-realistic cheeseburger prints in a Swedish web shop, the products here are simple cartoons and pictograms designed by TBWA Paris. These same graphics were used in a McDonald's ad campaign in France last year, but now shoppers can buy them on tote bags, phone cases, notebooks, and shirts. The limited edition collection will be sold from May 4th to 31th, according to WWD.
