Variety's seventh annual "Power of Women" issue stars Kim Kardashian, Lena Dunham, Glenn Close, Whoopi Goldberg, and Rachel Weisz, each with their own equally powerful Variety cover.
All five women are honored for their work in nonprofit communities, whether through starting their own charity or getting involved with local establishments in their area. Kim Kardashian works with the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Whoopi Goldberg is an honorary chair of Figure Skating in Harlem, Rachel Weisz and husband Daniel Craig support student scholarships with Opportunity Network in New York, Glenn Close founded the nonprofit Bring Change 2 Mind to raise awareness for mental illness, and Lena Dunham supports Gems, a non-profit for victims of commercial sexual exploitation in New York.
