Chrissy Teigen Vows to Quit Photoshopping Instagram Photos

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Chrissy Teigen joined Meredith Vieira on her show to discuss punching the President and a much talked about Instagram post of the model's "stretchies," a.k.a. stretch marks. It seems that the support Teigen has gotten for the super "real" photo has lead her to vow never to use body-altering apps again. She tells Meredith:

I have those apps, those Facetunes, those Photoshopping ones, and I just didn't feel like doing it anymore, and I'm never going to do it again. I think we forgot what normal people look like anymore and the standard is so ridiculous.

Amen, sister.
