It's safe to say that Reese Witherspoon's initial foray into running a lifestyle business is going a lot better than Blake Lively's first couple of weeks. According to WWD, 160,000 people visited DraperJames.com on launch day and, one week later, the site has already sold out of several dresses. The bestselling item so far, however, is a $155 graphic tote bag that reads "Totes Y'all," a not-so-subtle nod towards Reese Witherspoon's very Southern aesthetic.
"We have had amazing response to the brand and have exceeded every initial projection," Draper James CEO Andrea Hyde told WWD. Witherspoon has been promoting the site's merchandise on her Instagram account and in multiple public appearances, no doubt helping to drive sales.
