Model Tess Holliday's scored gigs with brands like Torrid and Benefit, but this has got to be her most significant career boost yet. The size-22 model made People's cover this week for the magazine's annual Body Issue. Holliday (née Munster) grabbed headlines earlier this year when she signed with Milk Management as the first model of her size to sign with a major modeling agency. She told People, "My phone still hasn't stopped ringing."
Holliday shared her magazine cover with her 893,000 Facebook fans earlier this morning, with commenters leaving encouraging messages like "AWESOME!!!!!!! I don't care what the haters say, Tess. You are an inspiration in this crazy world we live in!" or "I never read People magazine, but I will be buying this one!" and "YOU BEAT KRIS JENNER FOR THE COVER omg."
