Luxury brands are usually among the most tech-adverse, but that hasn't stopped Dior from testing the waters in the field of virtual reality. Digital Trends reports that the brand has developed its own VR headset and is shipping it out to select Dior stores around the globe.
The headset, nicknamed "Dior Eyes," is specifically designed to give wearers a virtual backstage pass during the latest Dior ready-to-wear show, as demonstrated in a video promoting the product. The headsets will ship to select boutiques in June, and Digital Trends predicts that shoppers will probably have to make appointments and/or purchases in order to try out the technology.
