Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

In the not-so-distant future, blogger Leandra Medine wants to send fans subscription boxes with Man Repeller-approved products. TechCrunch reports from Medine's panel at TechCrunch Disrupt NY, noting that Medine would consider venture capital to produce a subscription service featuring limited-edition, seasonal boxes with customized items from designers. "Here are the five things you need every season from us and you can't get them anywhere else," Medine explains.

Medine thinks the Man Repeller boxes won't launch soon — it's slated to happen sometime in the next two years, and when it does, there will be content based around it.  "It’s not a matter of cheap or not cheap. I want it to be an actual, useful service that made life feel a little easier and more fun," she said.
