James Corden, talk show host and comedian, knows that fashion's very important people wondered why he was selected to host the 2015 CFDA Awards, the industry's only award show. He doesn't know either. By way of explaining his personal confusing, Corden created a simple simile involving controversial fashion photographer Terry Richardson, who still gets jobs at major fashion publications:
Me hosting a fashion awards [show] is ridiculous. Me being here has disaster written all over it. Asking me to host the CFDA's is like asking Terry Richardson to host your daughter's birthday party.
