Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

In what is possibly Kim Kardashian's best interview to date, the reality star reveals her feelings on the name South West ("stupidest thing ever"), declares the duck face over, and accepts being the second-most popular Kim in North Korea. But above it all, NPR's popular program "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me!" cannot believe she agreed to be on the show. Host Mike Pesca declares, right off the bat, "From time to time, we have someone on the show that we can't believe agreed to be on the show." And yes, even NPR cannot resist harvesting some baby gossip. Read, or listen, to the entire interview over at NPR.
