Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Katia Kuethe, former creative director of Lucky magazine, has been named Abercrombie & Fitch’s new creative director. Kuethe confirmed the news to the New York Times, though Abercrombie declined to comment.

With a resume that includes Kate Spade, Tom Ford, J.Crew, YSL, and Teen Vogue, Kuethe could lead the ever-evolving Abercrombie in a brighter, more cheerful direction. Abercrombie also just made another big hire, snagging Club Monaco’s VP of men’s design Aaron Levine. He’ll now head up Abercrombie’s menswear.
