'Wet Hot American Summer' Trailer Is a Nostalgia Trap for VHS, Camp, Mullets

A gourmet chef, the opportunity for summer ~romance~and archery? Camp Firewood seems to have it all. The grainy, VHS-quality trailer for Netflix's Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp also doubles as a promo for the activity-loaded sleep-a-way camp in Waterville, Maine. Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, and Elizabeth Banks all make mini-cameos in the trailer, complete with mullets, crowds of campers jumping in the air, a polaroid camera, and more camp mainstays from yesteryear.

The eight episode prequel to the 2001 movie hits Netflix on July 31st.
